Training & Hiring Event

The Merced County CTE Training & Hiring Event is a collaboration and partnership with Central Valley Opportunity Center (CVOC), Gateway Adult Education Network (GAEN), Merced College, Merced County Office of Education’s Regional Occupation Program (MCOE ROP) and Merced Union High School District (MUHSD). We invite all of our training participants from our programs to connect with employers who are looking for qualified candidates to fill their open positions. We also showcased all of our local Post-Secondary (Adult) CTE training programs to our high school CTE seniors and anyone else interested in starting a new career. Additional partners and resources will also be in attendance from Worknet, Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), and the Empower program. Your participation and support is very much appreciated!

Career & Technical Education (CTE)

California Department of Education

A program of study that involves a multiyear sequence of courses that integrates core academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers.
